We have increased the thickness of the bed rails to a full 1" instead of the standard 3/4" and used our exclusive steel bracket fastening system instead of the 2 bolts most commonly used. This makes the Coolabah design one of the strongest bunk beds available anywhere ! We have also redesigned the ladder so it can be mounted on left or right side of the bed and attached it to the bottom bunk instead of extending to the ground for easier access to optional extras such as trundles, drawers or just cleaning under the bed. The Coolabah is fully sanded and finished with a 3 step lead free Pecan finish for a soft smooth feel. We have done more pre-assembly to this bed and with the improved easier to follow step by step instructions means you will be able to enjoy this bed even quicker with less effort. We have improved the packaging with more protection and double boxing meaning it is less likely to be damaged during shipping. All our bunk beds are fully tested to meet and exceed all ASTM and CPSC standards for bunk bed safety. The exclusive Twin size Trundle measures (L) 74"x (W) 40.5"x (H) 10" has four full sides and a solid bottom and can be used as a Twin Bed or a huge storage drawer. It is mounted on 4 caster wheels and glides in and out with ease.
